The team I coach

Ecclesall Rangers are a Charter Standard local grassroots football club based in the South West of Sheffield.  Established in 1990 by Martin Windle, the club now has teams ranging from U7's to U18's.

Ecclesall Rangers U11's

I started coaching this team in 2010 when my son started playing.  This group of players have been together from the start and have made huge strides in their ability and confidence.  Much of the focus for training is to improve and enjoy.

2010/11 - First season as a team
2011/12 - Difficult season playing against some of the best teams in our age group.  Struggled through-out the season but still continued to develop and play good football
2012/13 - Excellent season!  Started with 3 draws from 1st 4 games.  Only 1 league defeat all season saw the boys win their 1st league trophy.  More importantly, they enjoyed it and played some fantastic football.
